A 44-year-old man from Malaysia, who is working in Singapore, recently won the Malaysian Supreme Toto jackpot of RM32 million (or SGD$9.8 million).
According to the New Straits Times, the newly-minted overnight multimillionaire is refusing to retire from working and still plans to continue working in Singapore.
The 44-year-old supervisor of a trading company in Singapore, was the winner of the Supreme Toto 6/58 draw on 14 September.
He had bet the numbers 1, 3, 9, 11, 26 and 47 because they were his favourite numbers – lo and behold, the exact numbers came up for the Toto draw.
He spoke to The Sun Daily and said that he often bets on Toto 4D Jackpot, as well as the Supreme Toto 6/58 games just for fun and that he didn’t expect himself to win the jackpot.
He said that he will not be slacking off and will be continuing to work in Singapore, and added that he intends to use his winnings to pay off his mortgage.
he is also planning to buy property and set up an education fund for his children, as well as make donations to charity.
