A video emerged online showing a group of migrant workers all-out brawling at a workers’ dormitory in Changi, with punches flying everywhere.
The Singapore Police Force said that 9 men between the ages of 24 and 54 are assisting them with investigations into the alleged case of rioting.
The police told TODAY that they were alerted to the fight on 17 January at about 10.38pm, which broke out at a dormitory along Tanah Merah Coast Road.
The fighting had stopped by the time the police arrived, and the identities of the parties involved in the fight were established through the use of CCTV images and follow-up investigations.
Police investigations are currently ongoing.

The group was seen throwing punches at each other, with some of the workers brawling topless. However, it is unclear what sparked off the brawl.
About 8 men were seen in the video punching each other at the staircase, with one of the men seen being held down and beaten up by 3 other men.
Another man in a yellow tee was seen running up the stairs before getting kicked in the chest by another man decked in only his underwear.
