Miss Universe Malaysia 2017, Samantha Katie James, stated something extremely racist and insensitive in response to George Floyd’s Death. I think many of us would have heard on this issue on how George was killed wrongfully by the police in America, which led to riots all over the country.

The former Miss Universe Malaysia stated that “You chose to be born as a ‘coloured’ person in America for a reason. To learn a lesson. Accept it as it is.”
Such remarks are pure racist and such words should not be said at all. Everyone is born equal and as a human being regardless of colour.
