Ms Iris Ting Su Yin, 42, was stabbed to death one day before her reunion dinner with her teenage children. The mother of three was found covered in blood after receiving slash wounds on her neck. The incident happened at a Tampines void deck yesterday (Feb 10).
A few hours after she was found dead, the man that she married in the year 2000 was found at the foot of a HDB block in Punggol. The alleged attacker, Ng Chee Kok, 45 also passed away after being taken to hospital.

Ng was believed to have stabbed Ms Ting at Block 206 Tampines St 21 at around 6.30am. It is alleged that Ng jumped to his death and a photo which was believed to have been taking from across the block showed him to be standing topless on a window ledge at the block.

The couple was currently estranged from each other and Ms Ting moved out of their Punggol home to stay with her parents. She had two daughters and a son. Ms Ting also took a Person Protection Order against Ng last year but he allegedly breached the PPO a month later which led him to be charged with two counts of harassment. He was released on bail for $10,000.
Ng was alleged to have used violence against Ms Ting and harassed and stalked her on many occasions.
Ms Ting was then working for the Ministry of Education Kindergarten as the centre head.
