MOTORCYCLIST CAUGHT ON CAMERA LITTERING, THROW WRAPPER ONTO ROAD

A video emerged online showing a motorcyclist caught on the dashcam of another vehicle, littering onto the road.

The motorcyclist was seen stopping at a traffic light when he then took out some food from his bag to eat.

He was then seen in the video unwrapping the food wrapper before throwing the wrapper onto the pavement beside him.

The motorcyclist then indulged in his little snack after littering and continued his wait for the traffic light to turn green.

The incident happened on 11 December at around 9.31pm along Bendemeer Road.

Potential penalties

Persons found guilty of littering face a fine of up to $2,000 for the first offence, a fine of up to $4,000 for the second offence and a fine of up to $10,000 for subsequent offences.
