
According to a media release, Mr Lee Hsien Yang, the younger brother of Singapore’s Prime Minister Mr Lee Hsien Loong has joined the Progress Singapore Party (PSP). However, it is not sure if he will be running in GE 2020.
Mr Lee was spotted having a breakfast meeting with Chef of PSP Tan Cheng Bock at Tiong Baru Market this morning (24 Jun). Together with them were three other members from the Central Executive Committee.
According to Mr Tan Cheng Bock, Mr Lee Hsien Yang has joined the PSP about 3 months ago. He was only given his membership card this morning as they were unable to meet due to the pandemic.
When asked if he is contesting in GE2020, Mr Lee replied: “You will find out”. When asked if he financially supports the party, Mr Lee replied: “that possible”.
