“The ministry has also ordered all state ministry offices bordering Singapore and Thailand to intensify monitoring and inspections as well as to take stern action against any party that violates the Control of Supplies Act 1961 (Act 122) and (Control of Supplies Regulations 1974),” said the Ministry.

Najib has also made a statement criticizing foreign cars for pumping petrol.

Enforcement

Minister Datuk Seri Dr Alexander Nanta Linggi said that this comes as a response after a video of a foreign-registered car was seen pumping RON95. (presumably referring to the recent viral Singapore car video)

It is unclear how the ministry will enforce this but Nanta said that they are encouraging the public to make a report if they see the sale of subsidised fuel to foreign vehicles.
