A video emerged online showing a guy returning home to Malaysia for the first time in two and a half years after the borders reopened.

The video posted by @sushiduo on TikTok, shows an elder brother returning home and reuniting with his family.
Their parents and grandparents were apparently not aware that he was coming home, as he straight away embraced his mother.
Their grandmother was facing away from the brother as one of the girls tried to get her to turn around by pointing behind her and asking “ah ma, who is that?”
Their mother was seen crying as she hugged her eldest son, who finally returned home after more than 2 years.
