A local chicken supply company, Kee Song, announced in a TikTok video that the ban on kampung chickens and black chickens from Malaysia has been lifted.

The two types of chickens will be coming to Singapore from 14 June onwards, and will be available from 15 June onwards.
They captioned their video: “The wait is over! We’re having fresh chicken tomorrow onwards!”
The chicken export ban was initially put in place by Malaysia following a shortage of poultry in their country.
The ban also included chicken carcasses, chilled and frozen chicken meat, and live poultry; however, it seems that the ban has since been partially lifted.
