A 14-year-old schoolboy, Adriel Choo, died on Wednesday, 3 weeks after being hit by a car along Sumang Walk in Punggol, while he was crossing the road.
His mother, Madam Yong, fondly remembers her late-son as being a hardworking boy who was well behaved and devoted.
She said that he studied hard and was super hardworking despite his dyslexia.
She was appealing for prayers for her son from family and friends, sharing that Choo was brain dead but they still believed in miracles, that he would wake up, before he ultimately passed away.
Her message was shared by Stella Lim on Facebook.
Here is what she said
A friend just sent me this from singapore. If you feel led please pray for this family and Adriel.
“Dear Stella, may I seek your help to reach out to anyone who can help to inform the pastor of your church to do mass prayers for Adriel Choo Yong Xing, a secondary 2 student who was hit by a car while crossing the road near Shifa, my friend’s place. Dr said he is brain dead but we are a believer of miracles and he will wake up.
I just got his streaming results from his principal. He got into his 1st choice of subject combination
Life is so unpredictable and we have to cherish every single moment with our family.
