Ayam penyet has been a hit ever since the arrival of the dish in Singapore some years back. For those of you who don’t know, Ayam Penyet Ria was one of the first to establish a business in Singapore to bring in this spicy dish.

According to @halalSG (you can tweet at them to check if any outlet is halal and they might reply you in a snarky manner, which we like), they are currently not halal certified and also not processing any Halal application from them.

Alamak I see the photo also I hungry suddenly. An alternative is Ayam Penyet President, which also serves a mean ayam penyet with killer sambal.
