Dear Getgo/BlueSG P-plate drivers – if you can’t afford a car, don’t drive.
Many of my friends and myself have had numerous close shaves with your reckless driving with sudden abrupt lane changes without signalling, drifting from lane and poor driving in general.
Take some responsibility for your actions please – dont use those cars for “learning and practicing”.
One of the most facepalm moments I had was this girl who tried to park for 10 minutes in the lot (not parallel), then after she left the car looking all contented of her parking, failed to realise she parked too close to the car on the left until it can’t open….
I’ve learnt to keep a very safe driving distance from these rental P-plate drivers, their road antics are scary af.

- To be fair, “sudden abrupt lane changes without signalling, drifting from lane and poor driving in general” are not limited to newbie, car-sharing or occasional drivers.
- More amused that this has anything to do with people who use rental cars. So if buy own car with P-plate, can reckless drive?
- Gee, I wonder how many reported traffic accidents involve P-plate drivers.
Ever tried looking at the accident photos and see a P-plate? - When people try to correlate 2 different thingS
