A woman recently posted on Facebook claiming that a bus driver had shouted at her and her kids after assuming that they did not scan their EZ-link card.

If only people can be more kind, no one deserves to get shouted at regardless of age.
In her post she said
This uncle anyhow scold people no scan card. My kids already scan, he nvr saw this , anyhow shout kids , until my kids cry
Here are what netizens think:
- How old are the kids? No need to cry, take this as an opportunity to educate your kids how to fend for themselves, what to do when they are treated unfairly, how to seek help from other adults when mom/dad is not with them. Can’t protect them forever. Maybe driver hard of hearing? Wearing mask so have to shout louder? Or kids already walked far into the bus so have to shout? Kids cry a bit and people have to risk losing their job?
- Why shout? Bcos mybe its already a distance n to get attention .. there is a different between shout rudely n getting attention .. this ever happened to me ..
- 1 thing i nvr liked is ppl shouting at kids. Bad habit. Wateva d reason….talk to children nicely pls esp if its not YOUR KIDS
- for my thoughts, I think shouting at anyone is bad, regardless of age, not only kids.
- Tell them to scan again lor, it will show. After it shows up, give him a big FU and go take a seat. This ever happened to me once on my way to camp, I did it and I embarrassed the driver.
