NO WEAR MASK THREATEN TO BEAT UP COFFEESHOP WORKER & KICK POLICE OFFICER’S FACE

According to a reader contribution, a 62-year-old uncle was told repeatedly to wear a mask when he was buying coffee but failed to do so.

The incident happened on the 14 Feb 2021 at about 10 AM at a coffeeshop at Blk 673B Choa Chu Kang Way.

The uncle then “ki siao” and threaten to beat up not only the coffeeshop worker but also other customers at the coffee shop, he first started shouting and pick up a bunch of straws from the counter and threw it at the drink stall.

They had no choice but to call the police to restrain the man.

Kick Police Officer’s Face

Even after the police arrived the man did not stop his struggle and even tried to kick one of the Police officer in his face. Four officers were on scene to restrain the man and finally put him under handcuffs before putting him away in the Police car.

The man was arrested under public nuisance act and causing hurt to a public servant.
