PM Lee stated that Singaporeans will not be able to take short weekend trips to neighbouring countries such as Thailand and Hong Kong. He also went on to say that every country in the world is currently concerned about imported Covid cases and that various health checks and quarantines will be implemented if we travel.
Health declarations will have to be done everytime we travel. Due to all these restrictions, the tourism industry would have been hit hard and may “never fully recover”.
