A user submitted a story about how she was on board the MRT on 23 April at around 3.15pm, when she happened upon an inconsiderate national serviceman.
She wrote that she boarded the MRT at Ang Mo Kio station and saw that the NSF was seated in the reserved seat with his bag placed on an empty seat.
The user shared that her mother needed to sit down but the NSF simply “glared” at them, instead of offering his seat.
Her mother then got another seat elsewhere because she didn’t want to cause a commotion by confronting the NSF.
The user added that it is very appalling for her to witness a young man to behave in such an audacious manner in public, especially when he’s wearing his army uniform.
She added that she was unable to capture his full name, but for the “Q LIM” on his nametag.
