According to a media release, a 39-year-old man was arrested after flashing himself in front of a woman at Old Airport Road.
The police were alerted on the 03 Jun 2020 at 2.22 pm, a man was reported flashing himself at others at Jalan Tiga and Old Airport Food Centre.
After investigation and with the aid of the CCTV, the police were able to identify the identity of the suspect. The suspected was arrested one day after the incident.
Investigations are ongoing.
The man was also investigation under that COVID-19 act for his suspected involvement in breaching safe distancing measures.
According to the law, anyone convicted of sexual exposure could be jailed up to 1 year or fined or both. If the victim is under the age of 14, the offender could be jailed up to 2 years with additional fine or caning.
