The Singapore Police Force (SPF) has said that they will be conducting public perception surveys (PPS) and it is ongoing until 15 December 2021.
The reason for the survey is so that the Police can understand and perceive from the public’s point of view on safety and security in Singapore, their neighbourhoods and also if the SPF has been effective in fighting, preventing and deterring crime .
Media Research Consultants Pte Ltd has been appointed by the Police to conduct face to face interviews with the public.
These interviewers from the company will wear a pass with photo identification, carry an authorisation letter with the SPF official letterhead.
Respondents for the survey will be selected at random.
According to the Police, here is a sample of the pass carry by the interviewers.
