Pope Francis has admitted that clerics have sexually abused nuns by keeping them as sex slaves.

He admitted that his predecessor, Pope Benedict, was forced to shut down an congregation of nuns who were abused by priest.
He stated that the church was attempting to solve the problem but said that the issue is still going on.
The Pope’s comments come amid long-running cases of sexual abuse of children and young men by priests at the Church. Currently, priests and bishops has been abusing nuns and the church is aware of it.
A few of the clerics has been suspended for sexual abuse and rape.
