A 37-year-old woman in Chongqing, China, was taken into custody by Chinese authorities after she threw her three-year-old son from their 22nd-floor apartment window on the morning of April 1, 2024.
According to Chongqing police, the woman, identified as He, was experiencing a sudden episode of mania and attacked her mother-in-law with a knife before the tragic incident. He’s relatives and neighbors also reported that she had been exhibiting some psychological abnormalities and behaving erratically in recent times.
