Facebook user Terry Yip took to the Facebook Group Complaint Singapore to state of an alleged incident that he encountered when he went to the polling station yesterday.
Here was what was stated in his post.
“Just finish voted. Encounter one funny scene, a “EX Chinese Nation” woman come and vote. She pretend that don’t know any of the party in the voting form. She even need someone to explain to her in chinese. However, the polling station officer only explain in Chinese but didn’t tell detail on the party as it is sensitive in this station. The woman refuse to vote since she don’t know anyone of it. Then she said need to leave the station and go home do some research. They block her which by right after registered, you are not allow to leave it until finish vote. Then this Super lady said need to use her mobile phone to check more detail. They also reject it as no phone is allowed in the station.

Moral of the story – please do some homework before doing something. I’m curious if 10% of this vote are parked under this kind of citizen. How’s Singapore future?!”
