Workers’ Party (WP) Vice-Chair Faisal Manap previously testified to the Committee of Privileges, following Raeesah Khan’s testimony and the committee has released their reports yesterday, containing a summary of evidence.
The report stated that WP chief Pritam Singh and WP Chair Sylvia Lim would be called in as witnesses.
Pritam Singh was examined by the committee on 10 December and the report stated that WP member Jamus Lim would be called in next to provide evidence as well.
So far, Raeesah Khan, her former secretarial assistant Loh Pei Y9ing, her former Legislative Assistant Lim Hang Ling and WP member Yudhishthra Nathan have given evidence to the committee, along with WP Vice-Chair Faisal Manap.
Raeesah Khan testified previously that she was told by the WP leadership to take the lies that she told in Parliament to the grave, which Faisal Manap disputed.
Following Raeesah’s testimony, WP released a statement saying that serious allegations were made against them without evidence, and reiterated that Singh is prepared to provide evidence to the committee.
