PROPERTY PRICES IN SINGAPORE INCREASE DESPITE RECESSION

Prices of homes in Singapore increased in the second quarter despite Singapore going into recession due to the Covid pandemic.

The value of property in Singapore increased by 0.3 per cent in the three months ended June 30.

Singapore’s economy went in recession as there was a lockdown on schools, shopping malls and most work places. Though activity has largely resumed, the economy has still plunged and will continue till the year 2021.
