A waitress in Thailand, 28-year-old Fern, was working at her cafe selling milk tea and coffee, when a python fell from the ceiling and started chasing her, according to Yahoo News.
The snake had initially stuck its head out from within a gap beside the aircon unit and slithering down to the counter.
She then ran to the back of the shop and shouted for help, as a few customers outside the door stepped in to help her.
one of them tried to grab the python before something fell down from the roof, and another man then used a rod of some sort to get the snake.
The snake then suddenly dropped onto the ground and was seen slithering across the shop, as the waitress’ screams got even louder.
The snake then went after her, looking like it’s gonna attack when a third man bent down to grab the snake from behind, ultimate succeeding in wrestling the snake and dragging it outside the premises by its tail.
It was then placed inside a bag and picked up by animal rescue.
The waitress shared that she tried to run when she saw the snake but when she saw the snake’s head pup down, she ran back to the shop.
She said she couldn’t leave from behind as it was a dead end.
She is now traumatised and said that she keeps thinking about the snake and imagining it coming down the ceiling again.
