According to a media release, a python swallowed a cat and hide in the corner of a parking space and wait for digestion. Residents who saw the python alerted the authorities.

The incident happened yesterday (6 May) at Hougang Street 22 Blk 243 at around 3.50 PM
According to witness at the scene, the snake is at least 3 meters long and the snake swallowed a grey cat.
Staff from the Association for the Care of Animal Research (ACRES) were able to catch the python and put it in a bag.
A resident told Singapore Uncensored: “thank god the school is closed, the snake was spotted near the primary school”.
