A Facebooker User shared his experience about his break up recently on the Facebook Group NUSWhispers. According to the user, the pair broke up after his ex-girlfriend’s mum found out that he is from another race.
His ex-girlfriend’s mum has even threatened her daughter that they will stop paying her bills if she decides to be with him.

“I was together with my GF for almost a year. She then decided that I should meet her parents since her parents have been asking her to invite me over to meet them. I was a little hesitant but I went to meet them anyway.
After that meetup, her mum was against our idea of dating each other due to different races. And now her mum keeps telling her not to meet me because I may be a bad influence to her. Her mum told her if she doesn’t stop dating me, they will not help her pay all her bills or give her monthly allowance.
It hurts but she decided to break up with me as her family is more important and I understood that. I hope you’re happy out there and I still miss you.”
