A netizen shared a video showing a Hyundai Elantra hitting a parked motorcycle while reversing into a parking lot at an open carpark.
The incident happened on 14 November at about 9am, at an open carpark in Bukit Batok East Avenue 4, and was caught on the dashcam of the netizen who shared the video.
He said that the driver had hit the motorcycle while reversing, and denied it when being confronted by the camcar who captured the incident.
The offending driver then allegedly tried to flee the area but was purportedly stopped by the camcar driver, before alighting from his car to “pick up the motorcycle and put it back at the same spot”.
The OP also said that the driver never left any note or his particulars behind on the motorcycle.
Here is what he said
I witnessed an incident whereby a car was reversing and had hit a stationary motorcycle which caused it to fall off to the floor.
The mentioned motorist tried to flee the area but i managed to stop him. He was angry towards me when I prompted him that he had “langgar” the motorbike.
“What langgar! I never langgar anything” He then reversed his vehicle, came out and picked up the motorbike and put it at the same spot.
He never left any of his particulars on the motorbike. Ive written a note and left it on the motorbike too
