RIOT IN BANGKOK, POLICE CAR BURNS DOWN. RUBBER BULLETS SHOT

An angry mob of more than 1,000 people were see rioting in Bangkok after the Thailand government has utterly failed in managing the COVID-19 situation there.

The protestors are asking Prime Minister Gen Prayut Chan-o-cha to resign and step down as Prime Minister. Only 6% of the population has been vaccinated so far.

Allegations against the Thai government: Millions doses of vaccines were donated to Thailand by other countries but the vaccine “disappeared” claiming that there was corruption.

At least 100 Police officers were deployed at Victory Monument to stop the protestors. They are equipped with riot gear, water cannons, tear gas and rubber bullets.

The protest was violent and a few civilians and officers have been injured.
