
A SAF regular committed a series of crimes against 3 victims and he is faces ranging from molestation, penetration and sexual penetration of a minor.
A gag order has been declared to protect the identities of the victims.
The 24-year-old SAF regular started breaking the law since he was 19-years-old.
First victim
He met a 15-year-old girl in 2015 on Facebook and brought her out for a movie and followed by penetrating the minor. The accused was only 19-years-old then.
Second Victim
He met up with his secondary school friend on 10 June 2018 and was out drinking with her, as the night falls the victim get more and more drunk as they were having an alcohol buffet, the woman fell hit her head, vomited and eventually lose consciousness.
The accused escorted the victim out of the drinking premises and told his other friends that he will bring her home as the victim’s parents will get angry if she returned home drunk.
After bringing the victim back to his home he took a shower and realised that the victim was still unconscious. He then violated her with no protection and the victim did not know what had happened.
She only found out later when she confronted the accused as her privates felt uncomfortable. The victim later went to the hospital and found out that she was positive for chlamydia and Gardnerella.
13 September 2018 – Hotel in Geylang
She meets another secondary school friend and the victim was confiding with the accused regarding the problems of her boyfriend.
They had three litres of beer and the accused started molesting her, the victim resisted and told him to stop. He later proposed to the victim to go to a hotel but the victim did not agree.
He then claimed that he will book a private hire to send her home but the vehicle drove to Geylang Golden Star Hotel located along 31 Geylang Lorong 8.
He kept tried to persuade the victim into the hotel and promised that he won’t do anything to her, the victim believed and follow him into the hotel room. The victim was later molested after leaving the shower.
After the victim resisted, the man knew that he won’t have a chance of doing anything with her and went to sleep.
The victim later reported the incident to the Police.
10-year-old girl
The man met a 10-year-old girl online through the mobile app Tinder in June 2019, the man tried to play “truth or dare” with the 10-year-old and successfully tricked her into sending a nude photo of herself.
Charges
He was assess at Institute of Mental Health (MOH) and reports said that he does not have a sound mind.
He was assessed at the Institute of Mental Health and found to have paraphilic tendencies but not to be of unsound mind.
The Prosecutor Tan Yen Seow is pressing for at least 15 years’ jail and 15 strokes of the cane.
