SAFRA CLUSTER: WOMAN DID NOT HAVE SYMPTOMS UNTIL 18 DAYS LATER

Case 117 is among the cases that were confirmed and published by MOH on 5 March, the woman visited the following areas before she was hospitalised.

Case 117 is a 52-year-old female Singapore Citizen that has no recent travel to the affected countries but she been to Malaysia on the 1st March 2020. She is linked to the cluster involving the private dinner function at SAFRA Jurong.

She reported onset of symptoms on 2 March, She had attended the private dinner function at SAFRA Jurong on 15 February which is only 18 days after attending the event at Jurong Safra. On the 4th March, she was send to NCID and test results confirmed COVID-19 infection on 5 March morning.
