A video emerged online showing a man trying to scam a taxi driver and being caught in the act by another car that was behind.
The man, wearing a black and white t-shirt and a pair of jeans, was seen at the beginning of the video crossing a road at an unspecified location in Singapore.
At the same time, a red-coloured TransCab taxi was slowly driving on the road and waiting to make a turn ahead, as other pedestrians in front crossed the road.
The man then approached the slowly moving taxi and deliberately placed his right foot under the car and letting the taxi’s rear tyre drive over it.
The man then started limping as he made his way to the driver’s window and confronted the driver, pointing towards his feet and the tyre.
He then sat down on the kerb beside the road as he continued pointing towards his “injured” foot, before gesturing angrily at the camcar that was behind the taxi.
The taxi driver then raised his hand out of the window, appearing to be chastizing the man, who then got up from the kerb and gestured at the camcar again.
The taxi then drove off as the man’s attempt at scamming failed, and he then turned his attention to the camcar driver and continued gesturing.
