SECOND SUSPECT CHARGED FOR KNIFE STABBING CASE IN JURONG WEST

Teo Shou Ren, 28, was charged as the second suspected in a stabbing case at Jurong West during the circuit breaker period. He was charged in court on Wednesday (July 15) for one charge of voluntarily causing hurt with common intention to 26 year old Teo Jia Wei on May 10.

Teo and a friend, Edmund Kam Wei Liang, 22 year old, is accused of stabbing Teo with a knife several times in his body and head. Teo faces another 3 charges for being part of an unlawful assembling and punching another 32 year old man at Club District 9 at Orchard Hotel on April 27.

Teo is currently remanded for further investigations and will return to court on July 22.
