2018 ended with our car getting stolen at AEON Bukit Indah. To the people who did it, I take it that you needed the car more than we did. That the clothes in our luggage will cover you more than it will on us and the groceries that we bought will feed you more than it will on us. You needed our belongings more than us, but you got it through the wrong means.
I thank Allah for bringing the right people to us in our times of need. May Allah bless all of you in abundance.
Alhamdullilah, we are now back home, reports have been made both in JB and SG. But investigations can only be done by the Malaysian police. Till then, there’s nothing else that we can do but hope.
On another note, please buy travel insurance next time you decide to drive across the causeway. Even if it’s just a few hours makan session or a one night staycation. We got complacent and didn’t get any travel insurance cos we never thought it could happen to us, but it did.
This is the image of our car that we managed to retrieve.
Car Plate Number: SJJ 9285P
Model: Toyota Wish Aero Tourer in Grey/Silver
Parked at 1300hrs and realised car missing at 1830hrs on 31/12/2018.
Update From Malaysian IO at 0800hrs: AEON CCTVs not working so cannot retrieve any info for car exits. Traffic cameras around Bukit Indah also not functioning so difficult to track.
