SG TO ALLOW TRAVELLERS FROM INDIAN, BANGLADESH,MYANMAR, NEPAL, PAKISTAN

Beginning Tuesday, Oct. 26, at 2359HR, travellers (except short-term visitors), with a 14-day history of travel to India, Bangladesh Myanmar, Nepal and Pakistan will be permitted to enter Singapore and transit through Singapore.

Since April, long-term pass holders as well as short-term visitors were disallowed from doing this. 23 for India; May 1 for Bangladesh and Sri Lanka; and Jul. 15 for Myanmar.

MOH also moved 15 countries (including Malaysia and Indonesia) up to Category III, based on their Covid-19 status.

This will result in a decrease in testing and an increase in stay-home notice restrictions to travellers from Malaysia and Indonesia.
