Chia was seen in the video using a hanger to hit the toy poodle named Leslie, punching it and using a fan to blow the dog while the dog was wet.
The dog’s mouth and legs were seen to be tied up in the video.
The dog was also heard whimpering in fear in the video.
The man was also seen smirking while torturing his dog.

District Judge Lorraine Ho asked the prosecution to get a statement from the dog’s new owner about the dog’s condition after taking over, to find out how it was affected.
