Singapore and Thailand have come to an agreement to expedite ongoing discussions for a Green Lane arrangement for essential business travelers.

It was believed that an agreement through video conference was made on Wednesday (26 August) between MFA’s Permanent Secretary Chee Wee Kiong and his Thai counterpart Busaya Mathelin.
Both countries also expressed appreciation for the mutual assistance and support rendered amid the COVID-19 pandemic, including to the nationals residing in each other’s countries and the facilitation of their return home.Â
