
Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, many governments around the world has implemented a travel ban for incoming visitors visiting their country. This measure was implemented as part of the effort to reduce imported COVID-19 cases in the country.
This announcement was made by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Japan on the 27 May 2020. Singaporean is not the only one banned from entering Japan, 110 other countries visitors were banned as well.

Any entry visa issued by 27 Mar 2020, will be suspended till the end of Jun 2020.
As part of the measure to control imported COVID-19 cases in Singapore, our government had implemented a similar travel ban. Singaporean were advised to defer all travel plans until further notices. Anyone who is infected with COVID-19 after travelling from 27 Mar 2020 onward, they will have to pay for the treatment in full amount as no subsidises will be given.
