SINGAPOREAN BOY DIES AFTER DROWNING ON CRUISE SHIP

According to a media release, a 10-year-old old local boy that was on a holiday with her mother drown in the swimming pool of a cruise ship owned by Dream Cruises.

The incident happened on the 18 of November 2019, the cruise schedule was three nights long and was docked at Langkawi, Malaysia. The victim has been identified by the Malaysian Police as Alan Heng Kai Lun.

Pool attendants on duty were not able to save the boy from drowning, the medical team onboard the cruise tried to resuscitate the boy but failed to do so.

The victim’s body was taken to Sultanah Maliha Langkawi Hospital.

Dream Cruises is currently cooperating with the authorities for this incident.
