SINGAPOREAN MAN CHARGED FOR FOR BREACHING STAY HOME NOTICES 3 TIMES AT PAN PACIFIC SUITES

Another Singaporean man will be charged on the 06 May 2020 for violating the Stay Home Notice (SHN) order on 3 different occasions between 26 Mar to 9 Apr 2020. This can lead to heavy fines and jail term or both.

The 37 years-old man, Mr. Chng Tianxi was required to serve 14 days SHN after arriving back from Thailand on the 26 Mar 2020. He had served the SHN at Pan Pacific Service Suites Orchard.

However, during his notice period, he had left his hotel room three times and even inviting friends to his room 2 times.

Break down:

On 01 Apr 2020, Mr. Chng left his room around 1.25 am to bring a friend to his room from the basement carpark who left the hotel at about 5 am.

On 04 Apr 2020, the same friend visited again at 12.35 am and left the premises at 2 am.

On 06 Apr 2020, he once again meets up with 3 of his friends within the hotel premises and only returns to his room 10 mins later.

If convicted, he will be facing a fine up to $10000, jail term up to 6 months, or both.
