Nguyen, accompanied by her 18-month-old daughter and nanny, experienced a nightmare during an outing at White Sands in Pasir Ris around 6.20 pm. The trio enjoyed a meal, but little did Nguyen know that this seemingly ordinary evening would take a drastic turn.

One donor, who spoke to SMDN, said that when he saw the notice that was posted by Nguyen online, he transferred $200 to her without hesitation, adding that he empathises with her and donated to her because she has a daughter to take care, wishing her the best.

Nguyen expressed her gratitude to those who donated, saying that she was very touched by Singaporeans’ kindness.

Additionally, her landlord also understood her situation and didn’t chase her for the rent, allowing her to delay the rent payment because of her situation.
