SINGLISH WORD ‘AIYO’ ADDED INTO OXFORD DICTIONARY, BECOMES ENGLISH

The singlish word “aiyo”, most commonly used in Singapore, Malaysia and parts of Asia, is now officially an English word.

It was officially added into the Oxford English dictionary.

Which means, you can now write the word Aiyo in your thesis and in schoolwork and if your teacher questions you, you can tell them “Aiyo, how come you don’t know now can use aiyo.”
