
Ng Soon Hee, 47, was sentenced to four weeks jail on Thursday (August 13) for impersonating a police officer and using criminal force on a woman.
Ng, who was an SMRT employee, was drunk at the time of the incident, told the woman (who was drinking with her boyfriend): “Wah your breast very big ah! (sic)”
Ng pleaded guilty to two charges of impersonating a public servant and using criminal force on the 26-year-old woman.
The woman cannot be named due to a gag order to protect her identity.
A third charge of insulting the victim’s modesty was taken into consideration for sentencing.
The incident happened last year, on March 22, in the afternoon at about 1.30pm.
The victim was with her 34 year old boyfriend drinking beer near Block 173 Gangsa Road.
They heard Ng shouting at them so they turned around, they then saw him walking towards them, telling them they were making too much nouse.
Ng sold them he was a policemam, he then held out his SMRT staff pass that was attached to his SMRT uniform, holding it at an angle where they couldn’t see the details on the card clearly.
Ng berated them and said they were not allowed to drink alcohol after 10.30pm, although it was 1.30pm in the afternoon.
He then looked at the woman and commented on the size of her breasts.
The woman’s boyfriend then confronted him, to which the victim then tried to stop them from fighting.
Ng then used his forearm to push her chest, he then cupped her breasts whill pushing her aside.
That’s when the victim told her boyfriend to call the police.
At the time of his arrest, Ng’s blood alcohol level was 108mg per 100ml, the legal alcohol limit for driving is 80mg per 100ml.
Ng will begin serving his sentence on August 17.
