
According to a post by ICA, ICA officers who were on duty at Tuas Checkpoint on the 22 of November stopped a Malaysian vehicle from entering Singapore. The officers discovered 502 cartons and 1260 packets of contraband cigarettes.

The officers stopped a 32-year-old Malaysian female driver and directed the driver for further checks.
The vehicle was modified to store cigarettes in the roof and undercarriage of the vehicle.
The female driver has been referred to Singapore Customs for further investigations.
