A video surfaced online of a video shared by the owner of a store in Century Square.
The owner initially didn’t want any implication from the authorities as he thought this was a one-off incident, but the social distancing ambassador repeatedly came to disturb his staff every other day, getting very bossy and nosey.
He allegedly terrorized the staff by taking photos and threatening to write reports if they breach any measures, claiming that the staff must stand 1-metre apart when serving customers.
When the staff asked him to scan the SafeEntry code before entering the store, he said he didn’t have to because he’s a social distancing ambassador.
The staff was also made to polish his “Tiffany Platinnum” for him under duress.
He even asked the staff if he could get his ears pierced for free, and if he sees anything amiss he would “close one eye”.
