Facebook user Casper Chu shared how he was refused entry into Malaysia at the Johor immigration office because he had a missing page in his passport.
Chu said that the incident happened on 26 September at the JB Customs, and he received a Notice of Refusal of Entry after being denied entry into the country.
The reason for his rejection was stated as “not having a valid passport”, and he was apparently missing a page-14 of his passport, which appeared to have been torn out.
He said that the last time he returned from Malaysia, his passport was complete and that no one had touched his passport ever since, so he is baffled.
He captioned his post: “Kena yesterday at JB custom. The last time I came back from Malaysia, my passport was complete, and no one touched it during this period.”

- that’s why, it is very ultimately important, that you check your passports after getting them back from the customs officer. do not immediately leave in relief, despite kena jammed for hours
- it is not unusual for passports to not be chopped or torn by customs officers, in order to sabotage you, and cause you trouble.
- Check your passport before you travel period. You cannot accuse custom officer of damaging your passport when you did not check before travelling.
