BEWARE, ESPECIALLY LADIES.
This person called me suddenly and said that he’s my friend and he changed his number. I say I don’t know who, and he was like “wa you don’t remember my voice me meh? U guess la.” (The legendary hello it’s me scam call).
Then he got this Malaysian accent, I tot he was my old coworker, then I just say his name, then he was like “yaya, so long never meet want to meet up for dinner tomorrow?” Then I say I will text him.
After I Whatsapp him, I asked him some questions because I find it suspicious when I asked why he doesn’t sound like he used to be he said his throat hurts. The way he talk very confident I almost believe him
He kept avoiding my questions, then finally he send me Dave Tan photos thinking that I’m not close or not sure why he send me his photo when I’m quite close with him.
We decided to call him to confront; and he was really aggressive talking about meeting and talking about gangs (he said he is from 369 but in a Malaysian accent?????? AHHAHA) . He even threatens to burn my friend’s house down.
P.s we asked the scammer why he used Dave’s photo, he said it’s because Dave owes him money (??????) – another scam to use friend photos to scam other friends???
So guys, especially ladies, please stay vigilant and not to get scammed by this person.
Firstly, I don’t know how he got my number. And I don’t know how it got leaked.
Secondly, if I were to really trust him to be my friend and meet him I really don’t know what will happen.
If this can happen to me, this can be happening to you too. And the way they talk is very aggressive and scary, you won’t know what they will do to you.
SO GUYS, IF PEOPLE USE MY PHOTO SAYING THAT IT’S ME, DONT BELIEVE IT OK.
