Due to the ongoing pandemic, many Singaporeans has lost their jobs. The Singapore government is aware of the current situation and they have been looking into ways to help this group of people.

Earlier today (Nov 02), a $4 million fund was set up to assist households with unemployed family members. This fund will be used to provide those eligible households with a $500 payout to pull through this difficult period.
Criteria to be eligible:
Applicants must have suffered a loss of income due to the below:
- Non-voluntary no pay leave
- Retrenchment
- Job termination for at least 3 months
The Community Development Council (CDC) will work with the respective community partners to identify individuals who are eligible for the relief fund starting from 15 Nov.
