A 44 year old woman pleaded guilty after she abused her stepson for several years..

She hit him on the bad of his head with a ceramic mug, slapped him several times on different occasions which caused him serious injuries. He had lacerations on his head, abrasions to his cheek and one of his upper teeth was detached.
The child still told officers that he loved his stepmother and did not want her to be charged in court.
The police did not file and charges but not long after, the abuse continued. In 2018, the boy’s vice-principal, who noticed the boy had a swollen forehead, swelling at the back of his head, a cut below his eye and bruising on his forehead.
He was taken to KKH on July 30, 2018, and the MSF and police were alerted again.
