A video emerged online showing a man being arrested by the police at Geylang, the man was seen struggling and resisting as the police tried to subdue him.
According to Shin Min Daily News, the man was sneaking around at Geylang and a member of the public then called the police.
The incident happened on 3 December at about 9.20am, at Geylang Lorong 19.
Man was a wanted criminal
The police told Shin Min Daily News that they received a report at around 9.20am on 3 December about suspicious activity at the location.
The police then arrived at the scene and found the 34-year-old man, who was actually a wanted criminal by the police.
However, it is unclear what crimes the man is wanted for.
He was detained and paramedics arrived at the scene to do a check up on him before he was conveyed to the hospital conscious.
