Taiwan Adult Actress Princess Dolly Clarifies M’sia Trip Linked to Namewee Case, Denies Taking Payment or Escort Work

The mysterious death of 31-year-old Taiwanese influencer and nurse Iris Hsieh in Kuala Lumpur has taken yet another twist, after Taiwanese adult film actress WaWa (real name: Weng Yu-cheng) came forward to clarify her alleged involvement. The actress, nicknamed “Taiwan’s Strongest AV Star”, was dragged into speculation after revealing that she had once been invited to Malaysia earlier this year under similar circumstances by Malaysian rapper Namewee, who is now wanted in connection with Hsieh’s death.

WaWa Says She Was Personally Invited by Idol, Not Paid or Hired as Escort

In a six-point statement released late on November 3, WaWa firmly denied rumours that she was paid or introduced by another influencer for an escort-related trip. “I did not receive any payment. I only went because I was invited by someone I deeply admired,” she clarified. “It was not arranged by the so-called ‘drink influencer’, nor was it a paid companionship or job. I travelled to Malaysia purely on the invitation of the person himself.”

The actress added that while she never imagined becoming romantically involved with the man, she could not accept being deceived. “Everyone has the right to choose their friends and set their boundaries. I respect that,” she said. “Even though I am an adult film actress, I am also an ordinary person who wishes to document her life experiences truthfully.”

Denies Carrying or Smuggling Any Illegal Substances

WaWa also addressed allegations surrounding the presence of illegal substances during her Malaysia visit. She insisted that any drugs involved were provided only after her arrival. “All the prohibited items were offered by the other party after I got to Malaysia,” she wrote. “I did not and would not carry any banned substances through Taiwan or Malaysia customs.”

Concluding her statement, WaWa said she would not comment further on the case, asking the public and media to give her space and time to recover emotionally. “Please allow me some peace to adjust my state of mind,” she pleaded.

Public Reaction and Ongoing Investigation

The post immediately drew massive attention across Taiwanese and Malaysian social media platforms, with netizens expressing both sympathy and scepticism. Some praised her for speaking up, while others questioned why she had agreed to such a “mysterious trip”.

Meanwhile, Malaysian police continue to investigate the high-profile case involving Namewee and Iris Hsieh, which has been reclassified as murder following new evidence. Authorities have yet to confirm whether WaWa’s statement provides any new leads, but the case has already shaken both entertainment industries and reignited discussions about celebrity influence, substance use, and personal accountability in the social media age.
